Travel season is in full swing for our Admissions Representatives. 黄果视频 Downstate has people travelling the Northeast Loop of Healthcare Professions Grad School & Job Fairs!
This week there are College & Job Fairs upstate at Binghamton, Ithaca, Cornell, and Albany; in the city, we have someone at CUNY Hunter College. One of our Reps has been in 4 cities in 4 weeks.
We even have a representative at UMass Amherst.

If you are in the Philadelphia area, you can meet our Admissions Representative Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the FALL 2026 St. Joseph's University .
In the past, this event was limited to employers seeking talent. For the first time, graduate and professional schools will be attending the fair and seeking candidates for a variety of programs.

One member of our staff was in Atlanta for a 鈥淭his is Public Health鈥� Fair; another
member attended the Career Fair at Alfred in Rochester.
It鈥檚 refreshing to meet the eager young talent, some of whom are job-seekers, and
some of whom want the next level of education. We wish them all the best of luck with
their aspirations!

At the beginning of 2018, The Atlantic announced that the healthcare industry became
the US's largest employer, surpassing both manufacturing and retail, and establishing
that "[healthcare] services are the new steel" when it comes to driving the American
economy.
The Atlantic goes on to explain that as the population ages, the demand for healthcare
increases, and with this comes the need for healthcare managers to oversee, organize,
manage, and lead a rapidly expanding field. To put it into perspective, healthcare
will soon account for one-third of all new employment.
